Safety footwear must provide protection and be comfortable. But you don’t choose the right pair based on size alone. The working environment, safety standards and fit all play a part. That’s why good advice is important. Which model suits the job? Which last fits best? And what support is needed during a long working day?
With our on-site fitting service, we bring that advice straight to the workplace. Staff try on different models and receive personalised advice from a specialist. This enables them to make a choice they can rely on throughout the working day.
Why choose an on-site fitting service?
When safety footwear is ordered without staff having tried it on, it sometimes transpires afterwards that the wrong size has been ordered, a different model would be more suitable, or that the incorrect safety class has been recommended. The shoes then have to be exchanged or reordered. This takes time and creates extra work.
With an on-site mobile fitting service:
- Sizes are determined correctly straight away
- Staff can compare different models
- They receive personalised advice
- As an organisation, make a well-considered choice
This makes the ordering process clearer and ensures that staff wear their safety footwear with confidence.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. EMMA Safety Footwear offers a range of width sizes. In addition to the standard width size D, other fits are also available for various models, such as SD, XD and XXD. This means there is a suitable safety shoe available for many different foot types.
At present, there is no size chart available on the website. Do you have any questions about the sizing of a specific model? If so, please contact a dealer or EMMA for advice.
The fit may vary depending on the model and width. It is therefore difficult to make a general statement about the sizing of all EMMA safety shoes. If in doubt, we recommend consulting a retailer or trying the shoes on.
EMMA safety shoes are generally unisex. However, there are various models and fits that women often find comfortable. For example, those with a narrower last or a lighter design. On the page for women’s safety shoes, you’ll find an overview of suitable models.
